CD Analyzer?
 

Since someone knew about EncSpot, perhaps something else can have light shed on it. I have dozens of CDs that potentially could have damage due to an accident with a CD changer awhile back. However, there's no way for me to have enough time to listen to all of them and find out what's up. Is there a prog out there where I can pop a disc into the CD drive and scan it to make sure the tracks are fine?

since the program has to read all data from the cd, you just could use the cd-rip program and convert your cds to mp3.

i.e. cdex from www.cdex.n3.net tells you if it could
read a track ok - if not i tells you which blocks were bad.

I may have misunderstood your question but My friends dad owns 2 video stores and he just bought a cd/dvd resurfacer that takes the scratches out .Only $3000 :N:

Indiana's idea is good--but you could use AudioGrabber, for instance, and forgo the conversion to mp3 process to save a lot of time. AudioGrabber grabs the wavs in a twinkling, (conversion takes longer) and both gives you a 'Copied OK, Checksum:' message and counts 'possible speed problems.' (I sometimes rack up some 'speed problems' when there is nothing apparently wrong with the CD, but the 'Copied OK' output seems a very reliable indicator of physical flaws.)

Testing CD quality?
 

I always use CDDAE99 which can be set to do a double pass the second being compared with the first, this gives a good assessment of the CD quality, Green = All Ok Yellow=some errors Red=definately bad.. Funnily enough though even the RED tracks sound mostly OK.

CDDAE99 is really critical, and reports every single bit error, so don't be too worried as long as 95% is OK sound doesn't seem to suffer..
