request for server info
 

It's been a while since I used any p2p server, and now that I've tried again I've found that Morpheus doesn't connect anymore. I tried winmx, and although it still works, everything comes up as 'busy queueable', which is a pain.

Can anyone suggest a server that operates well and isn't loaded with spyware, please?

You may want to check out edonkey2000, XoloX or gnucleus for all types of files.

For mp3's, the latest version of Songspy has been improved as the program no longer crashes and searches are fast. Check the link. There's a lot to pick from here.

bright eyes if it's been more than six weeks since you last used morpheus and you're not sure if you received the latest update then you should amble on over to their main page or oscars' link and download it. musicity blocked all previous versions from connecting to it, making the older ones orphans in effect. this new one works fine though, just like always and now version 1.4 (or 1.34 depending on features) should arrive this week or next too.
