I have really liked your broadcasts so far. There's a special feeling of presence and novelty in live broadcasts.... Even the low bitrates that would normally be a turn-off for a sound connoisseur like me :BL: are just fine for broadcasting purposes... they give a sort of 'vintage' or 'underground' feeling to the broadcasts.... :dj: :S:

I have a server set up on a machine at work (tons of bandwidth) to rebroadcast my own private mp3 station. It's basically a hub so the stream only gets sent once from my home machine no matter how many people are listening.

I made an alias so if you go to http://207.228.64.140:8000/nu it will stream http://philomath.unixcore.com:6789/ ! Feel free to make use of it while it's there, hopefully you'll be able to stream a higher bitrate.

This week's show starts in 2 and a half hours (mibbe a little earlier), listen in - see if we can beat last weeks heady high of 16 listeners :eek:
