well, thank you, Mr. Stone, but these are not the same guys...there at have been or are at least 3 bands named The BlackJacks that i have come across. One was a British band (whom I think your EBay link refers to), one is a current Candaian punk band (who are actually not too bad), and the other is the defunct Boston band in question. I did find a catalog in Autralia that carries the song, but the logisitcs are a bit much - besides, since I no longer own a turntable, what i really want is the $%&# mp3.:MAD:

I managed to snag a copy of the original. It's City Song/Simple Song & also the next track, All I've Got Right Now, in one MP3 ripped from the '71 LP. Its 9.6 MB and 10 minutes long.

Only problem - My upstream is dialup only, so it might take a while to get it to ya. It's late here, so I'll upload it to a storage site overnight and send you a download link tomorrow, that's probably the quickest way.

The only album I have never been able to find that really bugs me is a group called Clearlight, they were on Elektra records in the 60's and produced by the same guy who produced the Doors.

A really cool band with only one album.

Oh well...

btw do you guys share files between each other and what is your preferred method?
